A night and a tournament to remember
District 2

The Kershaw County Darlings 8-and-under softball team completed a perfect five-game run in the District 2 tournament in Chesterfield County by beating Pageland, 16-8, on Wednesday night. By virtue of taking the tournament crown, the local entry earned a berth in the state tournament which will open on Friday, July 10 in Seneca. The KC Darlings kicked off District 2 play last Saturday with a 16-5 win over Chesterfield.
