L-EMS win streak snapped at 60; CMS second in Leopard Duals

After piling up 60 consecutive dual match victories, the Lugoff-Elgin Middle School wrestling team saw that run come to an end in the second match of pool play in Saturday’s Leopard Duals. The hosts, which finished third in the one-day, 10-team event behind champion Sullivan Middle School and runner-up Camden Middle School, opened the tournament with a 72-6 win over Andrew Jackson. Then came a 48-36 setback against rival Sullivan.
