Led by a fourth-place finish from senior Garrett Lawson, the Camden boys’ cross country team finished fourth in a rugged field of 18 teams at Saturday’s Pee Dee Classic Cross Country Invitational hosted by West Florence and South Florence high schools. Running in that day’s combination of heat and humidity, the Bulldogs finished with 139 points, trailing only champion Waccamaw (40), Darlington (108) and Carolina Forest (125). Lawson finished the 3.1-mile run with a time of 17:35.
