The Lexington County-Kershaw U18 and U16 boys’ soccer teams traveled to Lexington on Saturday in what was the first game of the season for Coach Aron Taylor and Coach Josh Witt’s U18 boys’ team. And the local entry started off with a 5-2 win against BCS Arsenal. The U18’s solid defense of Alex Ruffalo, Riley Kohn, Joseph Sheheen, CJ Jordan and goalkeeper Richard White, proved to be a factor in the win. Under the leadership of captains and midfielders Jerry Jones and Wil Alderman, they were able to start off the game with an early lead through Kyle Miller’s half-volley to the upper 90, with an assist from captain Deuce Brown.
