After having won the Chronicle-Independent football contest for the weekend of Nov. 21 when he was forced to win on a tie-breaker, Marion Price closed the season by turning in a perfect sheet to win the final contest of the year. Price and Elizabeth Wooten both went 14-0 but Price predicted that Clemson and USC woould combine to score 63 points in their game while Wooten predicted a 52-point total. With his second win in as many weeks, Price earned $100 for his game-picking skills.
