Saturday golf tourney benefits girls' soccer team

The Lexington County Soccer Club’s (LCSC) Kershaw 95 Lady Strikers Soccer Team, a first-year girls U-17 soccer team made up of varsity and junior varsity players from both Camden and Lugoff-Elgin high schools, is hosting a fundraising golf tournament to benefit the fledgling program on Saturday, Oct. 13 at the White Pine Golf Club in Camden.The tournament is an 18-hole, four-player captain’s choice which has an 8 a.m. shotgun start. The entry fee is $180 per team ($45 per player) which includes lunch. Prizes will be awarded at the conclusion of play to the top three finishing teams.
