Street Ball Legends to bring slams, hoops wizardry to town

The Camden-based Palmetto State Rizers of the American Basketball Association, which won their first game of the season, 160-116, over the Queen City Express, are bringing the “Legends of Street Ball Takeover Tour” to Camden’s E. Clarkson Rhame City Arena on Friday, Nov. 23. Tip-off time is set for 7 p.m. with the doors opening at 6 p.m.The “Black Friday Invasion” will allow fans to test their skills and try out for the chance to play against street ball legends that night. There is a $10 tryout fee and tryouts will be held inside Rhame City Arena beginning at 3 p.m. on the afternoon of the game.Tickets for the game itself are $15 with children under the age of seven being charged $7.Between timeouts, there will be kids’ dance and half-court shot contests, T-shirt giveaways and a raffle ticket winner.
