SHELBY, N.C. --- Giving his team’s dugout a final once-over to make sure his players left it as they found it, Kershaw County head coach Stephen Carmon was calm and cool. That spoke volumes, especially after Post 17 lost its debut in the American Legion World Series, being thumped by West Region champion League City, Texas, 12-2, in a game stopped by the 10-run rule after four and a half innings Thursday afternoon at Keeter Stadium.
