Pairings have been announced for the Camden Shrine Club Football Jamboree. The traditional curtain-raiser for football in Kershaw County is set to kick off its 37th edition on Friday, Aug. 10 at Camden’s Zemp Stadium. The three mini-games, consisting of one half of football each, begin at 6:30 p.m.The night’s opener will have former conference rivals Buford and North Central squaring off. As opposed to the past two seasons when they met, both teams will play as AA members in 2012 as NC was bumped up from the class A ranks after last season and will play as a member of Region 3-AA. Buford, which made that jump in 2010, remains in Region 4-AA.In game two, Andrew Jackson will tangle with Lugoff-Elgin in a game featuring two programs which had some memorable in-season match-ups in the past.
