Singleton closes Wofford career with more honors
JARED SINGLETON STARTED the final 27 games of his Wofford College football career handling the snapping duties.
Former Lugoff-Elgin football standout Jared Singleton was one of seven Wofford College student-athletes to be named to All-Southern Conference football teams. Singleton, a 6-foot-2, 309-pound senior center and finance major, earned first team All-SoCon honors from the league’s football coaches and was a second team choice in voting performed by the conference’s media members.A 2009 graduate of Lugoff-Elgin High School, Singleton started 27 consecutive games at center over the past three seasons for the Terriers. He led the team with 175 knockdown blocks, including 35 at Furman which were the second-most in school history.
