JARED SINGLETON WILL PLAY one more game as a college player when he competes in the College All-Star Bowl Game at Furman University next month.
GREENVILLE – Jared Singleton will play one last game as a college player when the former Lugoff-Elgin standout takes part in the 2014 The College All Star Bowl to be played on Friday, Feb.14 at 6 p.m. at Furman’s Paladin Stadium.Earlier this month, Singleton was honored by being awarded the 2013 Rimington Trophy for NCAA FCS programs. The Rimington Trophy is presented annually to the Most Outstanding Center in all divisions of college football. A three-year starting center at Wofford, the 6-foot-2, 309-pound Singleton earned first team All-SoCon honors from the league’s football coaches and was a second team choice in voting performed by the conference’s media members.
