Spring Valley defeated visiting Lugoff-Elgin, 3-1, in a Region 4-5A volleyball match played Tuesday night.L-E won the opening set, 25-21, before the Lady Vikings went on to win the next three, 25-16, 25-14 and 25-16. The loss put the Lady Demons in third place in region play and they will travel for next Thursday’s playoff opener.
