Classically Carolina junior tennis event named best in state

The Classically Carolina Junior Championships, which were held in Camden in May, received the Jim Russell Junior Tournament of the Year. The award was presented to tournament director Kevin Jackson, Director of Tennis and Aquatics at Camden Country Club at the United State Tennis Association South Carolina winter meeting in Charleston on Dec. 5. Jackson has a track record of excellence when running junior and adult USTA sanctioned tournaments and previously won the 2011 State of Mississippi tournament of the year.
