Things begin to heat up for KC football squads

After having used last Friday’s scrimmages to get their feet wet in preparation for the upcoming season, Kershaw County’s three public high school football teams will have a busier second full week of the pre-season, topped off by Friday’s Camden Shrine Club Jamboree at Zemp Stadium. On Tuesday night, all three sides will be in action. At Zemp Stadium, Camden will play host to Central and Lamar in their annual three-way scrimmage which will begin at 5:30 p.m. That same night, Lugoff-Elgin will make to short trip to Richland Northeast High School to meet the Cavaliers and Hartsville in a three-way scrimmage.
