Threat of inclement weather postpones Saturday's Dogfest

The threat of rain and, possibly severe weather, has forced athletic department officials at Camden High School to postpone Saturday's May Plant Credit Union-sponsored Dogfest activities, including the varsity and junior varsity baseball and softball games scheduled for the annual spring event. In addition, Saturday morning's Camden High alumni baseball game has also been postponed. CHS head baseball coach Denny Beckley said a portion of the Dogest festivities would be included when CHS and Lugoff-Elgin meet in the Camden Spring Break tournament at American Legion Park on Wednesday, April 4, at 7:30 p.m. The game itself will be made up on Saturday, April 14 at noon.
