Lugoff-Elgin teammates Zac Branham and Jake Laffin and North Central’s Cam Holley were named to the South Carolina Baseball Coaches Association All-State baseball teams. Branham and Laffin were first-time 4A All-state choices while Holley was selected to the 2A squad for the second consecutive season. Branham, who is signed to play at Florence-Darlington Technical College, led the Demons (21-9) mound staff with six wins in eight decisions while pitching to a team-best 1.42 ERA. The right-hander worked 54.1 innings, fanned a team-high 67 batters while issuing 20 walks.
