Thanks to Hurricane Matthews and the cleanup thereafter, the South Carolina High School League’s state playoffs for volleyball and girls’ tennis will kick off this week, a week later than originally planned. Post-season action kicks off on Wednesday in Kershaw County on both the volleyball and tennis courts. In volleyball, Region 4-AAA champion Camden will play host to Brome, the fourth place finisher in Region 3, at 6 p.m. while in Boonetown Region 4-AA champion North Central will host Greenville Tech, the Region 1 fourth-place team in a 6 p.m. start at The Castle.
