West Wateree dream team taking on Harlem Superstars

A West Wateree "dream team" has been assembled to take on the Harlem Superstars in a benefit basketball game on Saturday, Feb. 7 inside Lugoff-Elgin High School’s Demons Den. Tip off for the game featuring the talented comedy basketball team is set for 7 p.m. The event is a fundraiser for the school’s softball and girls’ soccer programs. Facing the Harlem Superstars will be a roster of players which includes Michael Manning (Doby’s Mill Elementary School), Shane Duncan and Jeremy Murphy (KC Parks and Recreation Dept.), Michael Thomas (L-E Middle School) James Baker, Robert Suggs and Keith Miller (Stover Middle School), Franco Jackson (Wateree Elementary School), Kevin Little (L-EHS) and KCPRD basketball coach William Merriweather.
