COLUMBIA – Opportunities earned, opportunities taken and opportunities missed. That, in a nutshell, sums up Lugoff-Elgin’s 7-3 loss to White Knoll in Thursday’s third round of the seventh annual Forest Acres Classic. With the win, the Timberwolves moved on to play for a third consecutive tourney title against host A.C. Flora while the Demons played in the third-place contest against fellow Region 4-4A foe Spring Valley.
