With holidays over, teams prepare for games that matter

MORGAN BASS and North Central will close out their non-conference schedule with a pair of games next week.
With the Christmas holiday break in their rear-view mirrors, Kershaw County basketball and wrestling teams are ready to dive into the games and matches that count.Lugoff-Elgin already received a jump-start in Region 4-4A basketball play, having two league games under its belts already as the Demons continue conference play next week.Camden kicks off Region 6-AAA action next Friday while North Central has a pair of games next week to tune up for the start of Region 3-A action on Jan. 10.On the wrestling mat, L-E opens defense of its 4-4A crown next Wednesday night.Here is the schedule of games for KC teams for the week of Jan. 2 - 7.
