Wrestling champs back on mat for Saturday wrestling clinic

Lugoff-Elgin High School will host its annual State Championship Wrestling Clinic on Saturday, Nov. 4 beginning at 9 a.m. inside the L-E High gym. Registration begins the morning of the clinic at 8 a.m. The cost for the morning event, which is open to wrestlers of all skill levels from kindergarten through high school seniors, is $35 per participant. The clinic will feature past high school state champion wrestlers from Kershaw County as well as other areas who will work in six different stations in which the groups of young wrestlers will be rotated in and out of in 30-minute increments.
