Let’s pretend, for the sake of argument, that there’s something ambiguous about the law that says South Carolina colleges can’t have different masking standards for vaccinated and unvaccinated students, so we can explore Attorney General Alan Wilson’s conclusion that the legislature actually meant to prohibit mask mandates on campus and USC’s mask requirement was therefore illegal.
