My doctor and I recently re-consulted on whether or not I should be vaccinated against COVID-19, especially with the Delta variant running rampant. Normally, I wouldn’t balk at doing so, but -- as I explained in recent months -- a bout of Gulliane-Barré Syndrome (GBS) as a teenager has made me wary of possibly retriggering the temporary paralytic disease.
