The Camden Archives and Museum presents its newest changing exhibit -- “A Transformative Event: When DuPont Came to Camden.” The exhibit opened on August 12 in the Whiteley Room and will run through February 13, 2020. The exhibit summarizes this important industrial development in Kershaw County and the impact it had on Camden and Kershaw County from the 1950s through circa 1970. We thank Lauren Reeder, marketing manager and public information officer of the Kershaw County Economic Development Office, for the idea of focusing on industrial development as a theme for one of our exhibits.
