I know that by living here in South Carolina I’m probably in the minority of red-blooded, heterosexual (straight; I’m attracted to women, not men) American males who are quite pleased with the outcome of the U.S. House of Representatives’ vote Thursday passing the Respect for Marriage Act that, as Vox.com explains, “codifies federal protections for marriage equality.”
