Last week, South Carolina was confronted with the threat of devastating weather as Hurricane Florence took an angry path straight towards the Carolinas. There is nothing like the threat of a natural disaster to bring a community together, and Kershaw County residents proved just that. Hundreds of people were affected, leaving countless numbers of homeless animals in need of urgent care.
