A nationwide competition ended the other day when Sears announced that it’s moving part of the company to a Chicago suburb. Previously, the company had considered moving 6,000 of their employees from Chicago to Charlotte. At one point, an anonymous comedian concocted a two-page “Application to Live in North Carolina” and circulated it amongst Sears’ employees in Chicago.
