When news broke a week ago that the Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office had arrested two people -- a man and his wife -- for the murder of Bethune resident Adam Davis, people reacted in pretty inevitable ways: “I told you so,” “It’s about time,” and, a few, “No, it couldn’t be them.” Armchair quarterbacking is a time-honored tradition among people who feel the wheels of justice turn too slowly.
