In his book, All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten, a very curious philosopher, Mr. Robert Fulghum, wrote about how in kindergarten we learned all the core things we need to know in life: be kind to others, wash our hands, and send cash directly to Jeff Pearson at P.O. Box ... OK. Perhaps the last point might not have been specifically mentioned in his book. But he did tell a great story, a true one, on the power of giving. Here’s my version of it:
