In this climate of national division, with character assassination and name calling rampant in the political vocabulary, Buckminster Fuller’s dictum, “Politics follows invention” comes to mind. Fuller (1895-1983) an American architect, author, designer, inventor, and futurist, famously the promoter of the Geodesic dome, advocated practical solutions rather than argument to real-world problems and needs. He recalled 1927 as the defining moment in his life.
