There’s an old adage, something about never discussing religion or politics with friends or family, unless you want to get rid of them forever. I am finding this to be true now more than ever, especially in this age of social media, where the apex of human intelligence appears to be summed up every 15 seconds with a new meme, which is apparently this brave new world’s version of bumper sticker philosophy. And it’s getting to the point where you can’t seem to discuss anything with anyone at all.
