Colonial Cup

To steal a catchphrase from Kershaw County Council Chairman Julian Burns: it was indeed a great day for Kershaw County. We’re talking, of course, about Saturday’s Colonial Cup Steeplechase. From great weather to well-organized logistics, not to mention an exciting win of the internationally acclaimed namesake race by a local horse and the team behind it – major congratulations to Sue Sensor and George Sensor, owners of Colonial Cup winner Top Striker and trainer Arch Kingsley, all of whom live here in Kershaw County -- the Colonial Cup was quite the showcase for our community, truly an event for everyone.
