As previewed on today’s front page, Kershaw County Council is set to hold a public hearing and take final reading on a potential $17.2 million economic development bond issue. The money -- based on “Plan 4” offered by county staff -- would be used to make improvements at Governor’s Hill, Heritage Point and Steeplechase industrial parks. Plan 4 also involves the use of $4 million in county reserve funds.
