Editorial: Dabney’s censure -- what happened?

A little more than a month ago, S.C. State House District 52 Rep. Vic Dabney posted -- and then deleted -- comments on Facebook in which he explained that he would be voting “no” on a hate crimes bill because he was tired of “watching our society give in to the liberals” whom he claimed had been saying that it was conservatives’ “whiteness” and “straightness” that keeps getting in the way of our country’s Black citizens reaching success.
