Tonight’s Economic Development Summit is an outstanding opportunity for the public to have questions answered and learn more about the business of industrial recruitment and economic development.

The summit, which is hosted by the Kershaw County Economic Development Office, in partnership with the S.C. Department of Commerce and the Kershaw County Committee of 100, will  feature keynote speaker Didi Caldwell of Gloabal Location Strategies, who will give a comprehensive view of how industrial recruitment works as well as give an assessment on how Kershaw County seems to be measuring up with regard to making itself a viable contender for major industrial recruitment.

Nelson Lindsay, director, Global Business Division of the South Carolina Department of Commerce, and James Chavez, president and CEO of the S.C. PowerTeam, will also take part in the summit.

We strongly encourage all who can make it to attend this event, which is free and open to the public. We believe it will be a very sound and profitable investment of a couple of hours of your time.
