Today is the day for Kershaw County’s elected officials to make their first impressions in 2023. This is especially so for those newly elected to office. As we expressed a week ago in this space, we are hoping to see our state representatives and senators; school board trustees; and county, city and town council members leave the politicking behind and get down to the real work of governance.
