Tomorrow is the 74th anniversary of D-Day, the Normandy Invasion, the longest day, and the largest invasion ever mounted in all of history. Although they undoubtedly knew it would be rough, they probably only had a vague notion of what they would face. None of them could have possibly known the sheer enormity of what they were about to do.
