Tonight, Camden City Council considers second and final reading of two ordinances which, if approved, would considerably change the skyline along DeKalb Street just east of Broad Street. The two ordinances would, respectively, authorize the city to accept a donation of the old Hazelwood Cleaners building and to purchase the adjacent building, currently the home of Blessings Beauty Salon, for $75,000. The city says it plans to tear the buildings down.
