• There’s a legitimate reason many Republican lawmakers in Washington oppose the potential nomination of Susan Rice as secretary of state. There are too many unanswered questions about her statements following the attack on the U. S. embassy in Benghazi, Libya. Many in the GOP say they’d be more comfortable with Sen. John Kerry, who ran unsuccessfully for president in 2004.
