• We note the passing of Debi Davis, former director of special needs for the Kershaw County School District. According to her obituary, Davis died after a year and a half-long battle with pancreatic cancer. In Friday’s edition, co-workers, administrators and a parent of a special needs child all lauded Davis’ work with the district.
