• Massive lawsuits have been filed against the National Football League by former players who claim the NFL hid evidence linking injuries to permanent brain damage. Because of medical evidence about shortened life spans and brain abnormalities, more and more people who used to scoff at such actions are now asking the question, legitimately, “Do I want my son to play football?” • Fans of the 1980s television drama “Dallas” will be glad to know the show is being revived -- with many of the same actors who played in the original soap opera. The wily J. R. Ewing is back, though now residing in a nursing home, as are brother Bobby, J. R.’s ex-wife Sue Ellen and son John Ross.
