South Carolina education, business and government came together in 2005 to pass the Education and Economic Development Act, now known as Personal Pathways to success. The act’s purpose is to help build a “life-long learning” workforce that is both educated and capable of competing in the global knowledge economy. This legislation has given kindergarteners through adults the means to engage in career awareness and exploration.
