One of the first and best impressions Camden made upon me when I moved back here in the ’90s was the number of neighborhood parks and tennis courts that were available to its residents. Now, like your guest columnist, Phil Noble, I must make a “full disclosure”: I am a tennis player. Shortly after I came to town, I started playing the game again for the first time since high school, tentatively at first, secretly hitting the ball for hours against the concrete wall at Scott Park, finally working up my courage to play a little doubles.
