Dear Rhonda: I really enjoyed your (column about going barefoot) published in the Chronicle-Independent on July 20 and the West Wateree Chronicle on July 21. I laughed and laughed. Being raised the same way reminded me of a visit to my aunt’s in Marion, N.C., about 50 years ago.
