Letter: Reader worries about 4-way stop
Placeholder Image
I can half-way understand the 4-way stop at the corner of York and Mill streets since there is a blind, uphill snake curve on the east end of York Street which is a 30 degree RW from Mill Street to Hwy. 34. The west end of York Street, from Mill Street to Broad Street is a 90 degree RW. But what I can’t understand, since there have been numerous wrecks and almost-wrecks with a hanging caution light, some pea-brain decided to take it down and not replace with a hanging flashing red light, but just little 4-way stop signs and caution lights about a block down the road. People, listen up, this is one of the most troubled intersections in Camden and has been a truck route since 1952.
