Letter: Readers proud of people in Charleston
Placeholder Image
Words fail me to express just how proud I am of the people in Charleston for the class they have exhibited in handling a senseless, tragic act of violence committed by a psychologically impaired individual. In this day and time, when our society seems to be seeking lower and lower morals and displaying less belief in God, it is the first and most encouraging sign of hope for salvation of our society I have seen in a number of years. It may be premature judgment on my part, for I know the rabble-rousers, fueled by the mass media, are chafing at the bit to find a way to use this to advance their agenda, and given enough time may find ingenious ways to enlist enough politicians and radicals to bring it about.
