If you are not angry yet, you are not paying attention. Or perhaps you didn’t see the limited April news coverage that 97 percent of Republicans in the United States House of Representatives in Washington (including five of South Carolina’s six male Republican Reps) voted slyly to steal Social Security’s $2.9 trillion surplus. In voting for a Constitutional amendment cleverly called the balanced budget amendment, they attempted to ignore the past Social Security contributions.
