The U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Georgia is reopening an investigation in the death of black American Kendrick Johnson, a teen who was found dead inside a rolled-up wrestling mat in his high school gym in January 2013. Federal prosecutor Michael Moore said, “My objective is to discover the truth and I believe it can be done by gathering all evidence and relevant information surrounding Johnson’s death.” Kershaw County Sheriff Jim Matthews came to mind.
