Fulmer honored for wildlife essay Leigh Fulmer, a fifth-grader at Pine Tree Hill School in Camden, was one of nine statewide winners in South Carolina Wildlife magazine’s fifth annual 1991-92 Young Outdoor Writers’ Competition. Fulmer’s article on the peregrine falcon took third place in the fifth- and sixth-grade category. Her teacher, Deborah Wood, received a cash prize for sponsoring Fulmer and recognition for her school.
