35 YEARS AGO -- Nov. 14-19, 1975 Photo cutline -- Don’t Drive Drunk -- The South Carolina Alcohol Safety Action Program’s (ASAP) mobile breathalyzer van will be at the Colonial Cup on 11-15 to conduct free and non-binding breathalyzer demonstrations for the public. The van will be parked in front of Paddock on Saturday from 11 to 5. According to Bill Higgins, director of the Kershaw County Commission on Alcohol and Drug, the van is coming to Camden to help illustrate how alcohol effects driving abilities and to let persons get a firsthand look at a breathalyzer.
